I dare you to be:

un·com·mon:

Adjective.
1. exceptional; remarkable.
I am outside sitting on my porch in my new black, rustic, wired bench.
***I found in a JUNK pile  around my small country town! [yes. I am  just like almost as bad my Aunt Lois]
[pictures coming soon.]

It is one of THOSE nights. Ya know, the nights where you just sit & think about your life.
Where it is going.
What you are doing.
What you are saying.
What you are suppose to be doing.
What you are suppose to be saying.
How you react to people.
You relive the day.
You think too hard.
almost, slightly emo.
But, here I sit, thinking about my life. I am thinking about how truly blessed of a country girl I am.

Ever since I can remember(which is pretty early on) I have always wanted to be "different". I have always had my own unique style in the way I dress. I have always been "Beka Boo"...
I have always TRIED so hard to be different.

Lately, God has been showing me things in my life that aren't so pretty. ALthough, I am not ready to share yet what those things are.... I will share with you this.

There was a certain time in my life, where I was completely weakened by what someone had said over/to me.
I can remember every. little. thing. this person said.
as if it were 2 hours ago.

I cannot get over how WORDS effect me.
MORE SO,
I cannot get over how I LET THEM effect me.
I hold onto things.
Hurts.
Fears.
Pain.
Regrets.
Failures.
you get the picture.
I was reading in my book the other day, "Uncommon Woman" AMAZING BOOK! MUST READ for ANY woman!

As I was reading, this paragraph JUMPED out at me...
"Though hard times come & people are cruel, we don't have to live tormented by our fears, nor do we have to be forever impaired by our past defeats. The more we understand who and WHOSE we are, the more we'll truly believe that GOD will RESTORE every.lost.thing! We'll comprehend which battles are ours for the taking and when it's good just to HIDE in the shadow of His wing & rest awhile. Jesus loves us so much & always has a watchful eye on us!"

WOW!
If we truly want to be uncommon or "different"....
We must be like CHRIST.
He was UNCOMMON.
He was the orig.i.nalll! :)

He is are 1 example we can go by.
To be unique.
To be different.
TO BE UNCOMMON!
This life has its ups and downs, but lets all remember...
WE ARE ON THIS EARTH FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS.
TO BE DIFFERENT.
WE ARE NEEDED.
TO carry HIS cross.
TO go through the fire.
To come out GOLD.
To speak the LOVE OF CHRIST to others.
To go that extra mile.
TO listen.
TO love.
To go and reach out to the forgotten & lost.
To go and touch the lost world.

If we just sit and BASK in our problems. it consumes are thoughts & days.

What we need to remember is to look UP.
Not down around our problems.
Because then we start to FEAR. DOUBT. WONDER. Go into the WHAT IF world.

Think about this:
Moses & the Red Sea.
There Moses is...
leading the people away from Mr. Pharaoh.
He is walking where God wants him to Walk.
Then, all of the sudden... he sees something ahead of him.
It's a body of water.
A sea.
He could OBVIOUSLY see it from a distance? right? I mean, I am GUESSING that there wasn't OUT OF NOWHERE a BIG SEA in front of him...
The people could see it & I bet they started to get a LITTLE nervous.
Moses kept walking.
Kept looking towards God.
Kept his eyes on WHAT was AHEAD(across the sea)  because he KNEW what was behind!
He didn't even THINK about his RED SEA, because he (just like it said in this book) KNEW WHO & whose he was!

Isn't that MIND BLOWING?!

It completely helps me in this season of life.

So, Today...
ladies,
LET US.
GO FORWARD FEARLESSLY!
Do not think about YOUR Red Sea that lies ahead of you.
Be sure of this 1 thing!
WHEN you come to your waters, THE WILL PART!
&
You will pass over to your PROMISED LAND of FREEDOM!

Do not Fear.

Do not hold anything back.
GO FORWARD fearlessly with Jesus!
