My husband Zach has not had the best home life growing up. He is the oldest of 8 kids. Zach's father left them while Zach was in high school, leaving Zach to be the man of the house.
I am not hear to share the whole story of Zach's family, but I am hear to share how this man, my husband, has changed my life.
I grew up with a mom and dad. The best parents anyone could ask for. They took me to church, showed me how to ride a bike, sing loud in the choir, be a leader, comb my hair, tried to give me piano lessons(nothing stuck), make mud-pies, load the dishwasher, fold laundry(mom and dad EACH had a way to fold), & most importantly- LOVE God.
I had the "perfect life" you could say. But yet, here is a man that didn't have the best childhood more passionate than I am. He is such a strength to me.
Whatever I lack in- he has.
Whatever I have-he has it as well.
So many people called us the "dynamic duo" in Kansas City. I do really feel stronger when I am around him. I have never felt that with anyone else. I have felt healing being around my best friend, but never have I felt STRENGTH growing in me.
This little baby boy, Tristan Micaiah Fox, will be just like his daddy. At least that is what I am praying for.
Zach is my best friend. I am so thankful for him. He brings ENERGY in our home, something I LACK in, especially lately. :)
I love you, Zacharia David.
